Sore in leg and heart

Dear all,

Good news! I passed my FYP..matter of fact, the whole class passed which means we all get to graduate together and no one gets left out!! :D Isn't that great? Now everyone can sleep peacefully. Then again, I have no idea what marks did I get nor do I know what sort of honours will I be ending up with..* please let it be second upper class..since first is definitely out of list already * ( T.T )

So what was I up to so far?

1) Monday:
 - Broga Hill Climb:
Woke up 3.30 am in the morning ( getting less than 3 hours of sleep), set out to Broga
around 4 and start hiking around 5am. Climbing up was relatively easy except for the last peak where
boulders were blocking the way and one have to climb up to get to the top ( would be easy if only it is less
slippery..damn the rainy season). Climbing down was a nightmare!!Looking downwards at the steepness
of   the hill and start wondering how did I get up there in the first place...slight altophobia perhaps.
Anyway, the climb was worth it: nice scenery, got to know a new canine friend, good workout..the cons?
A nice pair of shoes gone dirty and messy, a sore quads ( it's still sore!), a few slight cuts here and there
and worst of all, one shade darker..despite all the effort taken to prevent myself from further tan..well,
some of them enjoyed the sun because : They are sunproof or probably they are just Indians ( not being
   racist here)..

A newfound furry friend
Just the Fugly me

  - SLEPT LIKE A LOG

  - Went for Life of Pi with SP and SK..not bad a movie..interesting scripts, nice graphics..but storyline a
     bit unbelievable..well, fair enough though..7/10.

2) Tuesday:
   - Was supposed to go to Genting then all plans got screwed up..half of the other party in the class went to
Pulau Ketam ( Nobody seemed to trust me when this ex-Klang boy tries to tell them it's BORING
there)..well, nevermind...Went to MidValley with SP instead to hunt for some early X-mas pressie. Both
of us walking like some weird duck due to Quads soreness @@

3) Wednesday:
   - Initially planned to go to FRIM ( Originally supposed to head to Gua Tempurung and maybe overnight
over at Cameron H but well, things did not went smooth) but wasn't feeling too well..SK decided to call
it off because of me. Was planning to stay at home and rest but the gang asked me out for Wreck-
it-Ralph so tag along and watched it second time ( first time was 3D which I don't really enjoy that
     much).Highly recommended : 9/10

  - After movie, gang decided to go for Japanese Buffet at Shogun 1U...eat till burst..end up puking half of
what I ate in the washroom..honestly I am not a buffet person..SK and AD went back first. Me and SP
continues hunting for xmas pressie for the boys inc myself ( THANKS SP!!)...got a few clothes for CNY
    2013..

4) Thursday:
  - Oh it's today..didn't do much..just went out for lunch with gang, went to gym because I have not done
so  for the past few days and I can see myself getting more like a balloon waiting to burst out of my
    clothes.

and that's all for now..

Life in a Hell-hole

Dear all,

I am currently at Kuantan.. as mentioned previously, I am here for my 4th posting at the hospital here..

After being here for a week, all my excitement of coming over here has almost seep away..
This place is purely hell...

Things are expensive..in fact more expensive than KL..and the food sucks..My diet has totally being altered since day 1 itself..Somehow it is so hard to look for affordable and nutritious food here especially greens and fruits.. :(

Sort of tired of all the malay stall food..it's always "goreng-goreng" ( fried) assorted of food and not to mentioned the amount of oil and sugar..
I am now depending on oats and wholemeal for my fibre intake to allow smooth procession of the bowel system ( if you get what I mean)..
And my meal very much consist of biscuits and bread..kind of unhealthy..:( all the processed food..I am missing home already.

Then again, it is not all that bad when you have your friends around you..at least it makes things a lil tad bearable..Thanks gals!

What I can say is that I won't ever come to the eastern northern region for posting anymore if I can help it!! Nothing suits me here.. I am not a beach person and the things here are so freaking costly :(

Can't wait for my last day here..2 weeks + more to go...Wish me luck peeeps!

Till then, take care and see ya soon!

Yours ,

Chris C

" Attraversiamo "

Dear All,

Currently, the Monday morning weather is fair..but the environment here is NOISY..some construction and renovation works at the second floor of my block..Bing Bang Bong..sigh..

So here I am.."enjoying" all the extra sounds and scenery over a cup of Tenom Cafe Latte..I am not an avid coffee drinker but I felt the need to have one this morning..Another heart-breaking shock of my life when I discovered that I have lost the whole folder of my Bossanovas and Jazz collections..I must have deleted it by accident without noticing it while transferring some other files into my portable hard disk..I swear I could have smack myself hard for being such a klutz!!! *cries*

Sorry..I shall continue to mourn my loss later..Lets get back to today's post for now..

Went to watch the movie " Eat , Pray , Love " yesterday and I found myself enjoying the show very much..

Based on the best-selling memoir of the similar title by Elizabeth Gilbert, this movie is about a woman who finds herself in the middle of a failed marriage and a fail relationship, thus embark on a journey in search of her spiritual faith and herself.

Portrayed by the ever beautiful Julia Roberts, we followed the travels of the author across the world ( Italy, India and Bali ) meeting different kinds of people and experience different kinds of culture..As we walk along with her, we are able to see the transformation of a lost distraught woman into a stronger one.

This movie if not the book is indeed an inspirational one..It makes you think..it makes you realise that life is more than what you think it is..it makes you feel connected and there are some scene in which you can relate yourself to that of what the author have went through..

There are quite a number of thought provoking quotes throughout the show and one of my favourite * Warning: Spoiler here * goes like this :

"Do not look at the world through your head, look at it through your heart."- Ketut Liyer

Well,I would like to share more of the movie but I wouldn't want to spoil it for you so watch it for yourself and do tell me what do you think of it.. :)

Well, that's all for now I guess...till then, take care and have a nice week ahead...now I shall continue to mourn my loss...sob..my poor collection of bossanovas jazz...why o why... \(T_T)/

See you later...alligator..

Yours Mourning,

Chang Er and Me

Dear All,

Hows things going for you guys? I hope that it is better than my current situation dealing with water supply crisis at the campus hostel which I am getting really tired and annoyed with..Just hoping to get a suitable place to move out as soon as possible..*sigh*.. Should have done that earlier.. :/

Anyway..

Last Wednesday was the Mid- Autumn celebration or commonly known as the " Mooncake Festival " where people indulge in the sinfully delicious calories packed Diabetes causing pastry and small children played with fire by burning lighting up candles and lanterns..

So in accordance to the festival, my class decided to have our very first own cohort celebration since most of us are away from home and it is a good chance to share this wonderful culture with our non-chinese classmates..:)

Name of Event : Mooncake Festival a.k.a Cohort 2 Lighting Sessions ( WTF..LoL)
Date : 22nd Sept 2010
Venue : Taman Jaya , PJ

.......I am feeling lazy to type any more further details........

So,

As they say " Pictures speaks a sen no kotoba-wa ", I am posting up some photos instead for the torture pleasure of my dear reader's eye.. :P

When Things Crashed Down

Dear All,

I will never ever step my leg into that place again..NEVER..
Somehow I,knew it wasn't a good idea to linger around that place..REGRETS..
and NO..I DON'T enjoy it at all...NOT AT ALL...
In the end of the day..what is left? Anger? Shame? Infidelity? Adultery? Misunderstanding? Blames? Fights? Arguments? Break-ups? Tears...
Feeling Filthy, Dirty and Unclean..
Feeling Betrayed...A trust broken...A relationship jeopardised...All that have been build all this while just crashed down in a blink of an eye..
I am SICK of it..just so not worth it...HATE IT!
Should not have went there in the first place..so much for the experience..with no benefits..
YOU had not known that as much as I am COOL about it,I am also very VULNERABLE at the same time..
All of this is practically relatively new to me..How do you expect me to deal with it?

I am a GONER...Hopeless Case...
Then again, if only I had kept my cool and rationale..
SOLUTION is there..without exaggerating the situation..But all that has been done..Is it too late to reverse the mistake and make amendments? Or is there still a faint glimmer of HOPE for apology and reconciliation?

I admit that I have contribute my part in making things worse by my usual moodiness and silent treatment...BUT...I wished YOU had NOT put WORDS and THOUGHTS in my MIND and MOUTH..and STOP assuming things!
..and GIVE me some TIME and CHANCE to reflect on the situation..

...................All is left is regrets and a broken heart..broken due to the way and the person you think I am..
YOU and ME are both DISAPPOINTMENT to each other..the PROMISE made earlier are now merely another WORDPLAY..
Perhaps it is for the best?

A Trip To "Peaceful Land" a.k.a Taiping

Dear all,

I have to admit that I have not been here for quite some time..just being so occupied with exams, studies and so on..and at the same time having the writer's block and also lacked of motivation to write anything here..LOL

Oritey,as promised, today I shall blog about my trip to Taiping last month..Ben asked me if I want to visit his hometown at Taiping..Since I have not been there before and my schedule ain't too pack,I agreed and decided to tag along.

So,Ben picked me up straight from British Council after my invigilating duties at Inti College.Anyway due to drowsiness and fatigue,I slept through the whole journey there..So there isn't much I talk about here except for the fact that I woke up with a bad neck ache..ouch..(T.T)..

The whole journey from KL to Taiping took us like 4 hours plus and the weather was terribly hot..I swear that I feel as if I am travelling through some dessert..Gosh..

When we reached Taiping,I noticed that the whole town looks very post-colonial..old buildings..It is as if I have travelled back to the 50s or 60s..haha..The first place we went to was Ben's home..Believe it or not, although we were at the right housing area, Ben couldn't remember which was his house..LOL..and had to depend on the "room to let" sign-board on the house gate..yeah,since his siblings are all married and no longer stayed there, the house is kinda empty with only his mum so they decided to rent out the extra rooms..sounds like a smart plan to me..after all,who couldn't say no to some extra cash at times like this..

Its was a bit awkward at first when I met his mum..haha..partially because I have no idea what to say and also my hokkien ain't that fluent..but still managed to get through it..thank God..haha

So while,my stay there,I met Ben's elder bro,Johnny and younger sis, Annie and their respective families..Coincidence,it is the Cheng Beng week or so call the Chinese "all souls day"..So I went with his family to give a hand in cleaning their ancestor's grave and also Ben's dad's grave..Yeah,I do feel guilty because I didn't turn up to clean my own grandparent's grave..:X Sorry Ah Ma and Ah Kong ..>.<.. Then again,I have to admit that I have been eating non-stop from the moment I reach Taiping..Popiah, Mee Rebus, Wan Tan Mee , etc. etc. ...Gosh..I realised that whenever Im go somewhere for vacation,I am sure to gain extra weight..(T.T)...Plus it doesn't help when Ben's mum is such a good cook..She whips up a mean Otak Otak and Chilli Sambal !! Gotta ask Ben to learn the secret of the otak otak from his mom..haha..by the way,one interesting fact about Ben's mum..she once won the local state beauty pageant contest..Cool huh.. After indulging myself in all those foods and delicacies, its time to work out a lil bit..So following Johnny's recommendation, Ben took me to one of the golf club around for a swim..well,since we are not members so a sum of rm6 was charged in order to utilise the swimming pool..It was kind of worth it though since the pool is well maintained and there isn't much people around..Felt like its my own private pool..haha. If ever you are in Taiping, the are some MUST visit places such as the Taiping Lake Garden...calm ,serene and full of natural goodness (sounds like some food advertisement) and for all the avid joggers out there, this is a great jogging spot..unfortunately, I did not got the chance to jog there yet due to time constraint..Another place of attraction would be Maxwell Hill a.k.a Bukit Larut..Sort of like a mini Cameron/Fraser...a place to go if you like sight-seeing and nature and also the cool weather..For those faint hearted ones,I wouldn't recommend taking the jeep up the hill although that is the only option available unless if you plan to hike up there which takes about 3-4 hours..Good stamina training though.. :)

And yes of course..the Taiping Zoo...however couldn't comment much about it as I have not been to it yet..LOL

Hmmmm....Im feeling it..It is coming back..oh no..another bout of writer's block..great..although there is more things to share but I just can't seemed to put them down in words...sob..you know what..I guess I will just end my entry here..but fret not..before I do so ,I shall include a link of the photos taken during the trip for the pleasure of your eyes only..:)

Till then, cheers and take care..I don't know when will I be back again but do watch out for my next entry..:)

Dear All,

I am BACK!!!
Please say that you guys missed me..pretty please~ NO? Awwwwww...Boo Hoo~
Yeah,it's been some few weeks back since I last updated my blog and this is due to lack of inspiration and motivation ( Yeah..since I don't get any support from anyone of you :P ) and also myself being occupied with class and stuffs ( What stuffs? I don't know either but there's always something which keeps me busy and yet I kept complaining of boredom all the time..how ironic..)

As it is the last day of March so I thought of highlighting some interesting event I did on the month of March. These are things which I did, watch , eat and went throughout the whole month:

Books read:

- The Art of Happiness by HH Dalai Lama & Howard C. Cutler

- The Time Traveller's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger

- The Boy in The Striped Pyjamas by John Boyne

Movie Watched:

- Hot Summer Days

-Percy Jackson & The Lightning Thief

- Alice In Wonderland ( 3D)

- Up in The Air

- The Lovely Bones

Food Eaten :
- Seoul Garden
- Popiah
- Mee Rebus
- Lo Bak
- Wan tan Mee
- Char Kueh Kak

* Words highlighted in yellow are all eaten during Taiping trip

Travel :
- Taiping ( For Leisure)
- Inti College, Nilai ( For Work)

Weather:
- Either scorching HOT or heavy RAIN (=.=)

So there, that's is more or less of all the things I have achieved in the month of March :)
Of course,I would want to blog about each activities individually but I guess the lazy bug is affecting me..:P

Okay..okay..stop bombarding me already for being so lazy..I shall at least blog about my trip to Taiping.. But not now though..maybe in the coming day or two..>:P

Well, till then..see ya all soon ..cheers and take care :D

Yakult Chew ??

Dear all,

After a moment of being absent, I decided that I need to get back on track..This year's CNY have been a really quiet one..unlike those of the previous years..Kinda sad huh?

Nevertheless, I still did managed to catch up with a few of my cousins @ Malacca..and boy,the outing with them was real fun albeit a short one though due to time constraint..

From back: Me, Fiona and Amy

From back (Clockwise): Me, Amy and errr...Fiona's hand XD

Just let me briefly list out what and where did we went to :

Morning :
- Amy came to pick Fiona and me from Fiona's place..
- Cheng Hoon Teng temple for prayer..( Suddenly feeling religious!)
- Went for pineapple tart hunting..

Afternoon :
- Went to the newly opened Aeon Jusco to escape the scorching murderous heat out there.. >< ... - Had lunch at Sushi King..
- Continue to explore the shopping complex..many stores ain't open either due to CNY or under renovation.

Late Afternoon :

-Went to visit my aunt and uncle (Amy's parents) at their work place because I have to leave for Johore the next day...
-Back to Fiona's place..took a shower and nap till dinner time ..><

Some scallop fiesta

Our "mini" Yee Sang

Loh ah~ Huat ah~ Ong ah~

And while we were at Sushi King..we sort of took some candid pics..for example :

Got pinched? (T.T)

Got " Head-Snatched" ?

Got "Chopsticked" ?

Got "Smacked" ??

Got "Chopsticked" once again...

And we were discussing something about a famous singer named "Yoga Lin"..seriously I have never heard of such person before.. Perhaps because I don't really follow those Asian Entertainment News..and I somehow find that name silly that I randomly proclaim that I shall be known as "Yakult Chew" !! *LMAO*

" Yakult " Chew and his Yakult?

Gosh...tastes soooooo....heavenly...Yakult..Good for constipation...
( sounds like some sort of inofficial Yakult promoting )

Conclusion? Hmmph...(with the proud and arrogant look)....
Just call me YAKULT CHEW !!!

After lunch,it's time for more candid shots..hee... :P

Slurppp~ I don't taste anything..only colourings...XD

Chotto Matte Kudasai~~~ Matte nehhh~~ Don't leave me..sob sob..

This is how you "catch" a girl..hee...now sweetie..you're mine..nyahahha~~

Psst..psst..Don't tell Samantha k?? *gossip gossip*

Ooops...emm emm....*speechless*..hehe

Cake anyone??

And not to be forgotten that Valentine's day falls on the same day as CNY this year~~

In my heart..there's only place for my sushis and bentos...hehe

Well...that is all for now I guess..will update you guys soon on CNY @ hometown no.2..(be patient yeah...Yakult is still trying to invoke his blogger sense)...><

Till then , take care and have a great day ahead..cheers :)
